2013 Confirmation Class
Confirmation Sunday will be April 21, 2013. The church will baptize Laura, then confirm the baptisms of Laura, James and Alexi. All members and friends are invited and encouraged to attend.
These young people have worked hard to meet the requirements of Confirmation classes, which were held weekly from February 6 until March 27. During this time Alexi, James and Laura learned the text of the Lord's Prayer and Apostles' Creed, the books of the Old Testament and those of the New Testament, and summarized and presented to one another twelve of the major stories of the Bible. They also composed personal statements of faith, which they will share with the Session at Confirmation Breakfast this Sunday, April 21. AND ALL THREE STUDENTS HAD PERFECT ATTENDANCE FOR ALL EIGHT CLASS MEETINGS! This is exceptional dedication and should be recognized. Thank you, Confirmands, for your hard work and extraordinary efforts!
